About the Course:
The degree in Sports Engineering differs from conventional sports engineering courses, focusing on engineering theory and only showing the application of sports as an example. Other courses are allied with industrial design and focus more on product development, while other courses focus more on technical development. This excellent course is essentially a traditional engineering degree, modified to use sporting examples. The program structure provides learning experiences to gain a comprehensive understanding of the core disciplines of sports technology and their application and apply them to a wide range of engineering applications such as design, manufacturing, engineering management, and engineering design. The program has an international character and aims to provide advanced technical and general skills to improve your employment opportunities in the global sports industry.
This concentration is closely related to the Biomedical Engineering Research Group, where researchers are making progress in the use of biomechanics to reduce injuries and in sports medicine. Students can also participate in research through the University’s Baseball Research Center, where doctoral students can apply their skills in sports science research in baseball, basketball, football, and other sports.

How to pursue Sports Engineering in India:
Sports Engineer is a person with knowledge of engineering and sports. If they also the true sportsperson, it will be helpful but not necessary.
In India there is no proper undergraduate course available in sports engineering hence advisable is to go for an undergraduate degree in engineering or biotechnology or biology or physiology
Sports Engineering combines mechanical, electronics, computer science, biomechanics, physiology, mathematics, and physics.
You can go for an ordinary engineering course followed by a master’s in Sports engineering or a master’s level and then do a diploma in sports engineering.
If you follow this path, you will have the advantage of taking up a job in sports manufacturing organizations or if things don’t work out well there or there is a change of interest then job-related to the field in which you have done your under graduation (Engineering/physiology/biotechnology)
