Overview – IIT Hyderabad is a public university located in Sangareddy district of Telangana, India. It is one of the 8 ‘young IITs’ of India and also received technical and financial support from the government of Japan. The infrastructure is state-of-the-art and the campus itself is energy efficient and carbon neutral. Although a relatively new institute, IIT Hyderabad already has more than 110 laboratories and 50% of laboratories are reserved for research purposes. Regarding placements, IIT Hyderabad has a very good record with more than 80% of it’s students getting job offers after their graduation.
